Kimberley Cowell is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss department and is based in our Manchester office.
Kimberley assists a Partner in the defence of catastrophic injury claims and cases of utmost complexity. She is regularly involved in cases from day one, assisting with initial indemnity and liability investigations through to mediations, JSMs and trials, with instructions coming from two of the firm’s largest insurer clients.
She is experienced in defending personal injury claims covering the entire spectrum of high value and catastrophic injuries, including brain injuries (and sTBIs), spinal injuries, amputations, and all manner of chronic pain conditions. She is equally experienced in assisting with claims involving suspected fundamental dishonesty.
Experience
She recently assisted Neil Southern (Partner) in the successful strike out of a £500,000 claim on the basis of fundamental dishonesty which was widely reported in the national press.
