Courtney represents clients on a variety of litigation matters, including construction, commercial disputes, professional negligence, and product liability matters.
Prior to joining Clyde, Courtney was employed at a labour & employment firm where she handled professional negligence matters, with a focus on defending healthcare professionals. While completing her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, she volunteered with a variety of organizations, including advocating on behalf of underserved employees at the Nova Scotia Labour Board. Courtney’s extensive involvement with legal writing and copy editing, led to a published article which explored gender discrimination in the legal profession.
Outside of work, Courtney’s passions include attending live music events, travelling, making pottery, and cheering on her favourite driving team in Formula 1.
