Based in Montréal, Yasmine Bentourkia specializes in privacy and data protection, providing a full range of cybersecurity legal advisory services for clients in a variety of sectors.
Yasmine has worked on complex data breaches involving ransomware attacks, e-mail business compromise incidents and social engineering frauds. Yasmine also provides legal advice and assistance to international law firms in incidents with a Canadian impact.
Led by a deep interest for science and technology, Yasmine had a contractual practice in the medical/pharmaceutical field prior to joining Clyde & Co.
During her studies, Yasmine participated in the National Laskin Moot Competition, a bilingual moot concentrating on constitutional and administrative law, and she was selected among the top 20 oralists. Yasmine was also awarded the Faculty Scholarship at the Université de Sherbrooke as a student who distinguished herself by the excellence of her academic results in addition to her activities.
Yasmine enjoys painting in her spare time.
