Luke Barlow

Luke Barlow focuses his practice on insurance coverage advice and litigation, with a particular focus on complex environmental insurance coverage matters.

Since joining Clyde & Co, Luke has worked extensively on coverage matters concerning environmental and pollution liability policies, as well as commercial general liability (CGL) policies. This has included numerous litigations and other matters involving business interruption claims arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, where he worked to successfully obtain favorable judgments on behalf of clients. Luke has also done extensive work in analyzing coverage issues on behalf of clients for environmental claims involving a wide array of environmental contaminants, including per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and is a member of Clyde & Co’s North American Liability & Excess Coverage practice group’s PFAS committee. 

Upon graduation from law school, Luke served as law clerk to the Honorable Lisa Rose, J.A.D., in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He had also volunteered as a legal aide for the Waterfront Project, which provides legal services to low-income residents of Hudson County, New Jersey.

Prior to his legal career, Luke worked in the insurance industry for five years as a senior investment operations specialist.
