Leah is a Senior Associate in the London office advising on coverage and defence disputes in the financial lines and directors’ and officers’ liability insurance market
Leah advises on coverage and disputes across all types of directors’ and officers’ and financial lines liability insurance. She has extensive experience of advising insurers on complex, multi-jurisdictional claims, often involving regulatory, civil and/or criminal investigations or proceedings. Much of Leah’s practice involves advising on policy coverage issues and her work often includes an international dimension. As a result, she regularly acts as monitoring counsel for overseas lawyers.
Leah has experience in offshore jurisdictions, particularly in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands, having been seconded to a Guernsey law firm for three months. In addition, she has dealt with the defence of offshore claims involving trust disputes, fraud and insolvency.
Leah’s experience also includes two years on secondment at two different leading global insurers, advising claims-handlers on coverage issues and underwriters on policy drafting issues.
She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2010.
