Kelly is a Senior Associate in the Glasgow office, specialising in Fraud. She serves as the Counter Fraud Lead for Scotland and is a highly experienced litigator, specialising in defender litigation in the Scottish courts.
Experience
Kelly handles catastrophic and large loss claims, acting for a number of insurers, commercial companies and professionals. Her experience extends to Employers liability, Public liability and RTA claims. She also has significant experience acting in fraud claims, including LVIs, phantom passengers and spoofing claims, and induced, stage, and contrived accidents, as well as exaggeration and layering of claims.
She is instructed in large scale insurer operations targeting specific targets, implementing UK-wide strategies, and securing savings for instructing clients. Kelly has extensive experience in Qualified One-Way Cost Shifting (QOCS) and is at the forefront of this in terms of case law, and regularly provides training on the subject including to the Law Society of Scotland.
