Imane Bourahla joined Clyde & Co in September 2024 as an associate in the Montreal litigation group. She brings valuable experience from her previous role as Litigation Associate with another leading international law firm where she began her legal career. Her practice spans various types of litigation, with a particular focus on the construction and infrastructure sector, professional liability, product liability and class action defense.
Imane has represented parties in matters before the Court of Québec and the Québec Superior Court as well as various administrative tribunals and specialized panels in the Alternative Dispute Resolution sphere (adjudication, mediation and arbitration). She has also acted as secretary to the arbitral tribunal in the context of arbitration cases.
During her studies, Imane’s interest in arbitration and international law has led her to work for a leading AI-powered search engine firm based in Paris and specializing in international arbitration and investment and to serve as editor for the Revue québécoise de droit international. She also participated in an International Commercial Litigation and Arbitration summer program at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
