Stuart joined the firm as a trainee in 2021 and recently qualified into the Insurance, Financial & Professional Disputes team. 

Experienced across a wide range of contentious matters, Stuart specialises in dispute resolution with a particular focus on the defence of professional negligence claims and commercial disputes. Stuart has experience acting for many of the UK's leading insurers and their policyholders across a broad range of Scottish courts and procedures. Stuart has assisted clients in a large number of complex actions involving professionals in the construction, insurance and financial sectors.

• Defending multi-national engineering firm in complex litigated matter relating to the design of enabling works. 
• Acting for insurers in multi-million pound commercial dispute regarding design of residential heating schemes.
