Based in our Madrid office, Marina advises clients on corporate, construction and international commercial transactions over a wide scope of sectors. Currently she is advising on different projects in Europe, Middle East, APAC and South America.
Marina has significant experience in the renewable energies sector, where she has acted for both domestic and international clients, advising on transactional and regulatory issues. Marina regularly advises on the legal issues that arise from the use of different renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and hybrid technologies.
Marina´s experience encompasses advising on development agreements, EPC and O&M agreements and share and asset purchase agreements, including due diligence of projects in relation to M&A transactions. Marina also handles general corporate instructions, international commercial contracting and transactional real estate matters.
Marina is a very determined lawyer, with a strategic mindset and worthy client relationships skills.
Marina holds a Double Degree in Law and Journalism from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid). Before joining Clyde & Co, she studied an LL.M in Global Business Law at ESADE Business School. She has also conducted complementary studies in different universities across the world such as the University of Exeter (UK), the Sun Yat-Sen University (Guangzhou, China) and the University of Cagliari (Italy).
