Full Profile

Styliani is a dispute resolution specialist with extensive expertise and experience in advising and representing clients in arbitrations as well as in complex cross-border litigations. Her practice focuses on disputes in the areas of international trade, insurance and energy law. She is also regularly handling aviation insurance matters and claims.

She accompanies her clients in every step of the dispute resolution process, from strategic advice in the run-up to arbitration or litigation proceedings, to representation of parties in both domestic and international, ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitrations as well as in litigation proceedings, to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements and arbitral awards.

With a strong academic background in Greek and German law, Styliani is familiar with different legal systems and ideally equipped to meet the needs of internationally active clients, advising and acting for them in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes, including insurance, product liability claims, aviation claims, professional indemnity, post-M&A and international trade matters.

Styliani is dual-qualified, admitted to practice law in Germany (Rechtsanwältin) and in Greece (Dikigoros). As such, she is uniquely positioned to assist international clients venturing in multiple jurisdictions.

Styliani holds a LL.M. degree as well as a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Cologne (both „summa cum laude“). Styliani is a member of many arbitration associations and networking groups such as the DIS40 - German Initiative of Young Arbitration Practitioners, the ICC YAF and the Young ICSID.

Styliani has been awarded the “Lexology Client Choice Award 2024“ for Arbitration & ADR as exclusive winner for Germany. • Acting for an operator of an onshore wind farm in litigation proceedings related to a dispute arising out of the construction and operation of the park
• Acting as defence counsel in a major professional liability claim against an international law firm
