Styliani is a dispute resolution specialist with extensive expertise and experience in advising and representing clients in arbitrations as well as in complex cross-border litigations. Her practice focuses on disputes in the areas of international trade, insurance, energy and corporate law.
She accompanies her clients in every step of the dispute resolution process, from strategic advice in the run-up to arbitration or litigation proceedings, to representation of parties in both domestic and international, ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitrations as well as in litigation proceedings, to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements and arbitral awards.
With a strong academic background in Greek and German law, Styliani is familiar with different legal systems and ideally equipped to meet the needs of internationally active clients, advising and acting for them in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes, including insurance, professional indemnity, post-M&A and international trade matters.
Styliani is dual-qualified, admitted to practice law in Germany (Rechtsanwältin) and in Greece (Dikigoros). As such, she is uniquely positioned to assist international clients venturing in multiple jurisdictions.
Styliani holds a LL.M. degree as well as a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Cologne (both „summa cum laude“). Styliani is a member of many arbitration associations and networking groups such as the DIS40 - German Initiative of Young Arbitration Practitioners, the ICC YAF and the Young ICSID.
