Amreen joined Clyde & Co Tanzania in January 2018. She has gained significant experience advising local and international clients in the mining, corporate, and banking and finance sectors. Prior to joining Clyde & Co in 2018, Amreen attended the Law School of Tanzania, and previously studied the Legal Practice Course (LPC) alongside an MSc in Law, Business and Management in the United Kingdom. Amreen is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society. She is also a registered arbitrator with the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb).

  • Advising Mahenge Resources Limited on its USD 179 million loan from CRDB Bank PLC, DBSA and IDC to develop the Mahenge Graphite Project.
  • Advising mining companies and service providers to the mining industry on compliance with the Mining Local Content Regulations. 
  • Advising Panda Hill on its Framework Agreement with the Government of Tanzania.
  • Advising Kabanga Nickel on their Framework Agreement with the Government of Tanzania and other ancillary issues.
  • Advising an ASX listed company on its investment in Tanzania and acquisition of prospecting licences.
