The 2024 Paralympic Games held in Paris helped showcase the amazing stories of individuals who have had to rebuild their lives following life-changing injuries.
However, while the Games and the wider Paralympic movement have increased awareness of disability sports, research by national charity WheelPower reveals that 74% of wheelchair users face barriers to taking part in sports or physical activity.
