Clyde & Co ranked in Top Five law firms, in the top UK courts, by The Lawyer’s Litigation Tracker

In their prestigious Litigation Tracker, The Lawyer has once again highlighted the dominance that Clyde & Co has displayed in terms of litigation in the top UK courts, ranking us within the Top Five law firms at both the Supreme Court and the Chancery Division (2021).

The report, published in June 2022, is the definitive guide to recorded judgments in 15 UK courts and divisions, and to claims filed in six UK courts in 2021. It explores the litigation patterns from 2021, and strikes a positive tone for litigation teams as the period proved fruitful, despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Lawyer details  the sharp increase in claims filed in five courts in the UK, including the Queen’s Bench Division (QBD), Chancery Division, Commercial Court, Admiralty Division and Patents Court.

According to The Lawyer’s data, Clyde & Co notably featured in four Supreme Court cases and ten Chancery Division cases.

We firmly retained our place at the top of the UK Litigation 50 as the largest litigation practice in terms of revenue. In fact, we were the only firm in the UK to have broken the £200m barrier during the last financial year, generating £217.5m in litigation revenue.
