Our dedicated surveyors and valuers' liability team has the depth of experience and resources to handle the full range of disputes and issues arising in claims, from smaller disputes, where cost efficiency is key, through to very high value disputes.
Our team acts for a wide range of property professionals on issues arising from residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and portfolio properties. We defend valuation claims and advice on issues relating to lending practices. We use our knowledge of lending strategies, including securitisation and syndication, to advise our clients.
We are also highly experienced in advising on all manner of other disputes. These include claims arising from property management, planning enquiries, rent reviews/arbitrations, land contamination and environmental problems. They also arise from statements for inclusion in prospectuses, advice given in connection with fund and capital-raising activities, agency liability and liability arising from portfolio management and advisory work. We advise surveyors and valuers on minimising the risk of claims, maximise recoveries from third parties and resolve disputes without the need for court proceedings.
