Overview

An increasing number of clients from the US and India are using Singapore as a seat for arbitration. Indeed, according to the 2021 International Arbitration Survey conducted by the Queen Mary University of London, Singapore is now tied with London as the most preferred seat of arbitration in the world. Further, in 2020, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) set a new record with 1,080 new case filings. Parties from 60 jurisdictions chose to arbitrate at the SIAC in 2020, with parties from India and the US being in the top 3 foreign user rankings. In this webinar, our team of legal experts will discuss challenges faced by companies in the US and India including:
·         Pre-arbitral steps and challenges of arbitration in Singapore and India;
·         Enforcing arbitral awards in India; and
·         The Lifecyle of arbitration in Singapore.
The webinar will be concluded by a Q&A session.
This webinar is complimentary and you are welcome to extend this invitation to other members of your organisation.
We hope that you will be able to join us for this interactive and engaging Live Webinar.
