Agenda:
In this session we will look at some recent claims trends we have seen in offshore wind construction and operational insurance policies, based on claims experience from the German sector of the North Sea and beyond. We will cover the following topics:
1. Interaction between German law and English law practice in offshore wind policies
2. Series loss - we will look in detail at the life cycle of a typical offshore wind claim, how the serial nature of the event has unexpected implications, and how insurers can protect themselves
