Global Art Programme

As part of the firm's global Responsible Business programme we display art in our offices to help to inspire conversations about mental health and to support students as they transition from art school to professional artist.

As part of our Responsible Business programme, we have an established Global Art Programme. This initiative showcases art in our offices that resonates with our values, fosters connections with the local community and provides crucial support to early career artists from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate the commercial aspects of the art world.

In London, we partner with NewPlatform.art, which is a not-for-profit dedicated to supporting early career artists with professional development programmes and financial support through the display of artwork in offices. This collaboration is particularly vital in today's challenging environment where funding cuts and limited opportunities make sustainability a significant concern for artists. As part of this collaboration, we launched the Art Prize, where colleagues can vote for their favourite piece and a professional panel judges the standout piece. The winning artists receive a financial award to further support their artistic endeavours.

Our offices in Dubai, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Montréal are dedicated to sourcing artwork that not only resonates with the local community but also supports local artists and art students. This initiative helps students transition from art school to the commercial art world as part of their career path. Participants are invited to exhibit their work in Clyde & Co's offices, and we support art graduates in their professional development by paying them fairly to show their work.

In Belfast, we partnered with Belfast Exposed, an organisation specialising in mental health and wellbeing. They support individuals and communities through their unique therapeutic photography programme, empowering disadvantaged individuals to gain inspiration and acquire skills and qualifications beneficial for future employment.

Additionally, Clyde & Co is launching 'Art with Purpose,' allowing our colleagues to showcase their artistic talents. The newly formed photography society, Unity in Shutter, boasts over 130 members and will be collaborating on various projects to be displayed across our offices.
