Magdalena Szwarc-Brożyna joins Clyde & Co to lead new Real Estate team in Poland

Warsaw, 2 December 2024 – Magdalena Szwarc-Brożyna has joined global law firm Clyde & Co as a partner in Warsaw to lead the real estate team, a new practice launched by the firm at the beginning of December. She is joined by Paulina Dąbek and Maciej Kulpiński to form the new practice.

Magdalena Szwarc-Brożyna, attorney-at-law and partner at Clyde & Co, has been advising real estate entities for almost 20 years. She specialises in transactional advisory services concerning, among others, the acquisition, sale and lease of real estate in the commercial sector, office, logistics and retail centres, as well as the PRS and hotel sectors. Her clients include international property developers, investment funds and local and regional property managers.

She is an active mentor, committed to developing the competences of the younger generation, working, among others, in the Top Women in Real Estate and Urban Land Institute (ULI) projects. She co-creates and supports pro bono initiatives, working with the Habitat for Humanity Poland and Foundation Between Heaven and Earth.

Paulina Dąbek, solicitor, joins the firm’s new real estate practice as counsel. She is experienced in administrative and civil law, with a particular focus on real estate and corporate law. She represents clients, both domestic and international, in the acquisition, sale and lease of commercial real estate and in the structuring of JV projects.

Maciej Kulpiński, joins as an associate in the real estate team and specialises in real estate and corporate law. He advises on commercial real estate acquisitions, sales and leases, is responsible for transaction documentation and preparation of due diligence reports. He also actively supports clients in all aspects of the day-to-day management of office, logistics and retail buildings.

Clyde & Co opened its Warsaw office in January 2024, with a team led by Arkadiusz Krasnodębski, Agnieszka Kulińska and Radosław Góral. Its Polish office specialises in energy law and dispute resolution, as well as in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, real estate and banking and finance. The firm continues to grow and now has a team of nearly 50 people.
