Clyde & Co advises Elektroteks on its acquisition of Mammut

International law firm Clyde & Co, with a team led by Eva-Maria Barbosa, advised Elektroteks, an international manufacturer of mattress machinery, on its acquisition of Mammut (Nähmaschinenfabrik Emil Stutznäcker GmbH & Co KG), a German manufacturer of industrial quilting machines.

The closing took place on 23 September 2024. Mammut, based in Cologne, has specialized in manufacturing high-quality industrial quilting machines since its establishment in 1872. Mammut’s headquarters and production facility will remain in Germany, while Elektroteks will expand Mammut’s spare parts and service business through its global network.

Elektroteks is a leading Turkish manufacturer for mattress and quilting production technologies. The family-owned company, headquartered in Bursa, Turkey, is represented in 133 countries worldwide.

Clyde & Co advised Elektroteks with a team led by partner Eva-Maria Barbosa from the Munich office. The team also included Adriaan Louw, Dardan Gashi (both senior associates) and Thora Rock (associate, all Corporate/M&A, Munich).
