Clyde & Co named German “Law Firm of the Year” for Insurance Law by Best Lawyers®

Clyde & Co has received the recognition “Law Firm of the Year” for Insurance Law in Germany in the 2025 edition by Best Lawyers®. Only one law firm in a selection of 23 practice areas is honoured with this prestigious award. This is the third time, the firm has been selected "German Insurance Law Firm of the Year" following 2022 and 2023.  

This year, Best Lawyer has published for the first time both national and regional “Best Law Firms - Germany” rankings. Clyde & Co Germany is recommended nationally as a Tier 1 firm for both Insurance Law and Litigation in addition to Arbitration and Mediation (Tier 2), Corporate Law (Tier 3), and Data Security and Privacy Law (Tier 3). Regionally, the firm has been recommended in a total of ten practice areas, including IT Law, Marine and Shipping, Product Liability, and Transport. 

Best Lawyers emphasizes the law firms recognized in the rankings have consistently demonstrated excellence in legal expertise and industry knowledge. Each firm included has been rigorously evaluated based on client feedback, peer recommendations, leadership interviews, and the depth of their practice. This year, 2,700 lawyers across Germany have participated in the survey. The result is a comprehensive guide for businesses and individuals seeking top-tier legal counsel in Germany.
