Clyde & Co Expands US Insurance Defense Practice with Hire of Thomas Maroney in New York

Global law firm Clyde & Co announced today the appointment of Thomas Maroney as partner in its New York office. Tom joins the firm from Kennedys and his hire is the latest expansion of Clyde & Co’s global insurance and North American US defense practice.
Tom has extensive experience handling insurance claims related to primary and excess general liability, construction (New York Labor Law), transportation, and hospitality. He holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and previously oversaw an Errors and Omissions claims desk handling multiple types of professional liability claims including those relating to lawyers, accountants, insurance agents/brokers, broker/dealers, real estate agents, and title agents.
Tom joins the firm’s national defense practice and his appointment follows the recent arrivals of partner Danny Worker and his team in Chicago and of senior counsel Kira Barrett, Melissa Gardner and Rachel Werner in Phoenix.
