Clyde & Co Expands Insurance Practice with Hire of Smita Mokshagundam in Chicago

Global law firm Clyde & Co announced today the appointment of Smita Mokshagundam as partner in its Chicago office. Smita joins the firm from Hinkhouse Williams Walsh LLP. Her hire is the latest expansion of Clyde & Co’s global and North American insurance practice.

Smita represents and counsels insurers on coverage issues and disputes mainly involving general liability policies. Her specialty is in construction failure, intellectual property and, most recently, biometric privacy litigation. She has successfully resolved these matters in court and in private mediation settings. She also has extensive experience providing advice on matters involving environmental issues, sex abuse/harassment, products liability and breach of fiduciary duty.
