Court ruling gives parties freedom to specify arbitrators

This article, originally published in Insurance Day, considers the Supreme Court's decision in Jivraj v Hashwani, in which the decision of the Court of Appeal that an arbitratrion clause was void for non-compliance with EU equality laws was overturned, and the freedom of parties to specify the arbitrators they can choose was decisively upheld.
